It's a good thing the little buggers are so tasty, because they yield jack compared to bluegill (and jack SQUAT compared to crappie).

I bag them separate so they don't go to waste on a fish fry ;). In my house, all perch fillets receive a "recipe" - preferably broiled. Don't get me wrong, a perch fry tastes awesome. But, so would a hamburger made from a ground up porterhouse. You smellin' what I'm shovelin'?

Yeah...But you wont have to lament too much over the size of the fillet on the Perch you're gettin...On the 16th that'll change - That is IF you get to Lake Michigan for some Walleye sized Perch!

Either way...You gotta few NICE fish fry's there! :p

I can't wait to get out to LM for some jumbo perch action - Not to mention possible 50 pound carp! And the incredible vis! :)
