Has anyone tried this gun ? Guess it would have to be rigged with a breakaway . Could use something like this , In the past have speared with two guns , specially when the queen mackerel (scomberomorus plurilineatus ) are running . Tends towards pandemonium , mayhem and serious knitting ... ;)
 
abri, i was wondering the same thing when i saw it. i imagine a breakaway system would be a major pain to use, because of tangles and such. for safety shots i would feel more comfortable using another gun. i do find the design and concept interesting though!
 
Hi LJF , I am not too concerned with putting a second shot in the same fish , rather getting two in quick succession . Our queen mackerel come through in their hundreds but are on their bicycles , so not much time to waste . That's why I would want a breakaway .
