I am thinking of buying a Picasso wetsuit but am unsure of what size I should buy. There seem to be a lot of divers on this forum that use Picasso so I thought it might be a good idea to pick your brains.
When I consult the Picasso fitting charts I find that I would wear a size 54(L) if I went by height, and a size 52(ML) if I used my weight. I am 6'0" tall (183 cm) and generally range from 175 to 180 lbs (80 to 82 kgs.). Being an old guy, my chest is gradually settling to my midsection. At present I have a 40.5" (103 cm) chest and a 35" (89 cm) waist. My other suits, both large, flush a bit around the upper chest where the muscles used to be. (They both have back zippers) I don't want to make the same mistake again.
I can't try one on since there are no retailers, or other divers, in my area that I am aware of. I asked a mail order vendor and he suggested the larger size.
Does anyone have any advice? Also, most of the Picasso models in their catalogue seem to be stocky types. Are these suits more appropriate from this body type? Are any of their suits better for us long, lean types?
Also, has anyone had experience with the Cressi Sub Supercompetition? How does their sizing run?

We are very close in size, you and I. I wear a 52 , with the "Tall" option, which is a semi-custom that costs a little extra. Very comfortable, and reaches my ankles and wrists.
Good luck,
Erik Y.
