I'm checkin' out one of these lakes this Saturday...Big Cedar is also on my "HITLIST" for this spring...

If anyone want's to go with or meet...Let me know. Water temps on Big Cedar are in the 50's already! Lots of 20 foot deep fish cribs too!

But with the "fishing" opener, boats WILL be a factor...Maybe Golden Lake will be best since it has stringent "no wake" rules.

Do you know what the weather is supposed to be like? I have a rookie who I told I would take out this weekend, but the weather around here is looking crumby... :vangry

High winds can suck, but if it's raining who cares!!! I'll be all wet anyhow! :t

Water clarity should be at it's finest of the year right about now at ALL the fore-mentioned lakes!

Carp will be "in the mood" for love soon - Gathered into big gurgling orgies of fish funk...May the "biggest" of the bunch feel my spear slip through their vitals - ending life instantly. A giant of a specimen, it quiver's ever so slighly as it softly sinks toward the lake bottom...The last thing he heard was my noisy ass JBL...Ahhh...The sweet sound! Oh look...Theres another slob....Schwack! Load...Repeat...

Oops...Sorry...I'll stop...getting a little poetic (corny) on ya'll...

Besides...Wreckrunner might see this and think I'm crazy!

Spanked 'em good today! Got 2 carp and 3 crappies! Was very selective about the fish I harvested...Coulda' shot fish ALL day long! :inlove
