Been reading this forum for a bit but havent really posted much.
I have just got into spearfishing and love it. Even though i havent caught anything yet !!!
I was just wondering if anyone can let me know of any decent places to go in North Cornwall. Either by PM or on this thread.
I have tried Port Quinn twice and havent seen a thing. Vis wasnt the best mind. Then I tried between Harlyn and Trevone on Sunday. And i just saw one small mullet and then on the way in a decent size bass but got away coz i put my saftey on as i was just about to get out, then didnt have time to take it off ! Was about 3-4 lbs :head
Anyway, I then tred Treyarnon Bay today after work (thursday 1st ) around the island at mid to then high tide. Was amazing viz and was a great dive. But just saw wrasse and one flat fish that i should of got but for some reason just decided to watch it instead !
Also, how deep should i be going ? Today was prob about 10 -15ft. Is this deep enough.
What should i be looking for, for a good looking place for bass etc ?
