Portsmouth casual free dive training??

Hi all I’m looking to do some freediving in Portsmouth or nearby. I’ve done pool training years ago in NZ, thought it was amazing and want to do more. I’m in the sea in Southsea most weekends for a splash around but would love to freedive train with a buddy or group and get back into it. Anyone out there??

Hi Jeff, I live in Southsea in the Winter only. So not much good to join you this Summer.
If you are around in November please let me know.
In the Summer I live in Karpathos, Greece. I freedive most days.
The water here in Karpathos is crystal clear with top to bottom vis normally 30 metres.
Last year I did my personal best of 34 m.
I obtained AIDA 2 in May at Newquay with https://www.freediveuk.com.
There are not many APNEA Clubs in the UK.

Hi Phil

Sounds ideal. I'm often in Greece in the Ionian sailing. I swim in the water all year round in Southsea so will catch you when you're back in Nov. I'll have a look for southsea spear fishing thanks for that. I'll work out how to DM you with my details. Cheers, Jeff
