Hey you guys,

Are any of you familiar with the jobsituation in Egypt?

Is it possible to work with freediving there and wich place would you consider the best for freedivers?

Regards...
Peter P

P.S I have a little experience in freediving...:t

He Peter,

Are you looking for a full time freediving job, or just for a few months?

Jorg

I don't think it's possible with freediving, sadly. If you take a scuba master, it's another story...

I have been working in the diving industry in egypt myself. forget about freediving so far. it is scuba orientated. totally.

there are single exponents organizing courses and training camps (like umberto or the austrian team training the blue hole). but there is no such thing as a freediving clinic in the red sea part of egypt.

but I have to admit I have been dreaming about this as well... why not open the first freedive clinic of the red sea? hm...

have done 7 five-day trips to the redsea (arabian coast) .

work? who cares - JUST GO. the deep blue waters and marinelife will BLOW YOUR MIND.

Go GO GO!!!

Peter, I havent been to the red sea before so I cant say where is best dive wise, but if you are looking for divebuddies dahab seems like the place. There are at least 3 permanent and very keen freedivers living there that i know of, and i'll be there myself shortly. cheers

Hi Peter,

maybe you would like to contact Andy Laurie from NoTanx(Andy@notanx.com). I visited him in Hurghada last November and he wanted to make a living by giving freediving instructions.

He should know by now, whether this works or not...

Have a look at this site for more information:

All the best!

Cheers
Uli

Hi again,

I´ll check out the webpage and drop Andy a few lines.

Jorg - I´ll be staying there for like 6 months. Longer if everything is still peachy, shorter if it sucks :)

Regards...
