Powerlung = Sucking at a Sraw?

Hi Divers,

how does the Powerlung-Machine work? Is it just an adjustable Breathing-Resistance or is there more? Can I build one on my own, just by using a straw?

Even better than a straw, try going to your local hardware store and grab a pvc ball valve. Don't know what they have over in Deutschland, but here it's a simple piece of plastic with a valve that opens and closes to various degrees. Best part is that it's a LOT cheaper!

That being said, I tried it for a while and didn't feel like it really helped.
