Sorry to get of topic, but have you noticed if you look up Umberto's book on Amazon, down the bottom there is a section entitled "Customers who shopped for this item also shopped for these items: Freedive! by David Sipperly; and listing a few other similar books.

However the 5th book in the list is "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale" by Jenna Jameson. What does that say about us!!??

And how does Jenna Jamison have anything to with diving? Oh, hang on, I think I get it.....

Does anyone on this forum have Sipperly's book? Wondering what freedivers think of the content. I read some reviews available va Amazon, and they were mixed. Given his experience, one would expect the book to be exellent....at least in terms of content. Don't know how good a writer he is.

HOW TO MAKE LOVE LIKE A PORN STAR

Oh dear, how embarrassing.

I think I am the Amazon shopper who also shopped for Jenna Jameson's "How To Make Love Like A Porn Star", but I have a perfectly good explanation.

When I wrote my Deeper Blue review of Pipin's new book, " The Dive", I checked out some other recent publications by Pipin's publisher, ReganBooks, in order to get a feel for the publisher's house style.

ReganBooks's two hottest-selling items at the time were Jameson's book and "American Soldier" by General Tommy Franks.

I did not read Miss Jameson's book. I met her once very briefly at a trade show in Las Vegas, and that was quite enough for me.

I have Sipperly's book "FREEDIVE!" and love it! It's a bit on the basic side, but covers the basics very well in my opinion. An excellent book to loan to a friend who's wondering about freediving, or to someone who's started freediving already and looking for some excellent information and tips.

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!

I just got an Email from Amazon.com, the US one, and they said the books are back ordered until the end of November- they could have told me that 2 weeks ago when I first ordered the book from them!

I am now going to try and order it from Idelson-Gnocchi and see what happens.

Does anyone know who else has the book in stock right now?
