Yo ho ho!

Seasons greetings deeper crew!,

I'm wanting to find a good reliable water resistent wristwatch with a pulse meter in it. I'm hoping to spend a little as possible so I should change it to a cheap reliable waterresistent wristwatch!
Anyone have anyone good links?

Choppiewater,
My understanding of these is you can either get one with a separate sensor that you attach to your body and it sends a radio signal to your watch. These don’t work underwater, unless you pay big bucks. The other type of watch has a sensor you place a finger of the other hand on for it to read the pulse. These are pretty cheap: $10 - $40 on e-bay. I don’t know how well they work.

Hi,i looked at the same... apparently (or so i was informed by them) polar pulse meter watches work underwater... although i think their are only 2 or 3 with 100m waterproofing (remember most watches with less arnt actually waterproof to the depth they say) reckon these retail around £80 A friend of mine has one that you put your finger on approx £40... water proof to 100m but the pulse meter wont read underwater an it dont like having buttons pushed below water either. Hope that helps
