For Ben and Gary:

I found the following info online. It's probably a bit out of date. The cost per session in particular seems a little optomistic! Now get down there and get playing the best game in the world.

Putney Octopush Club trains at Putney Leisure Centre, Dryburgh Road, Putney, London, SW15 1BL, off Upper Richmond Road, the A205 South Circular. Club sessions are at 20:30-21:30 on Tuesdays in the diving pit (depth 4m/12'6") and at 21:30-22:30 on Thursdays in the main pool. Putney Leisure Centre can be contacted on 020 8785 0388. Club sessions cost £4.00.

If there's still a session in the pit, let me know. That sounds wicked.

Thanks for a good day's diving.

You are mistaken, the best game is not UW Hockey, but UW Rugby - the only three-dimensional game in the world (unlike UW Hockey, which is still only a poor 2D game) :inlove

You are completely right trux!

2 times Swedish gold medalwinner in UW Rugby.

Thanks a lot for that Tom, i'll look into it. It's a 5min walk from my house so no excuses really!

Well done on the weekend too, your new fins looks pretty swish!

Cheers,
Ben

what are some good fins to use with underwater hockey?

My new Ymca just started having it in there lineup of activities and I want start so it can help me with my freediving.

Leader fins are what all the internationals are using. Make sure you get the vulcanised exterior. They are pricey, mind, especially with US delivery.

If you're not that serious yet a good pair of full foot scuba fins like Mares Quattros will do.

No split fins, buckles or sharp edges
