Question about Coatings

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.

I have read at the elios webpage follow:

Copper coating and the new Black coating, is a painting put over smoothskin (not over open cell)

Is Titanium & Gold coating painting put over open Cell but
Copper and the new Black coating, over smoothskin?

Why I ask?

Becauce with the time the coating is wearing off and if you
have a Titanium or Gold coating with the time you will have a open cell but with Copper and Black coating you will have a
smothskin inside and thats is not so great.

I am right?
