Hello

One of my friends wants to start freediving in september and she can hold her breath about 1,45 - 2,00 secs (sitting on a chair). I want to dive with her about 10 meters, how long can she stay at the bottom?

Well, You'll have to find out - can't really calculate those things. Just make sure You stay on the safe side!
Have You ever taken a freediving course? If not, that would certainly be a good present for Your next birthday or so. ;)

to go at 10 meters and back u need about 30 seconds if u have good fins and not going down very quickly.....
I aproximate that she can stay at 10 m for 10 seconds or so!
but many variables are envolved here...
if she can't do corect equalization she will not be able to reach even 4 meter depth...
her constitution is important as well....
to many variables:(

it is very important 4 her 2 know how to not wayst the oxygene with her mouvement
oxygene preservation is important in freediving
i'm not an experienced freedivier and i never did more than 16 m depth, but i dive from very long time because underwater hunting and i know that i am right...more experienced freedivier can corect me if i'm wrong

I'd say You two drop by and we hop into the lake for a bit. Maybe there's a trick or two I can still show You. ;)
I'll have plenty time the next couple of weeks, so if You can actually arrange a trip to the Bodensee, that would be great as I'm always looking for (prospective) buddies. :D
