Hello

One of my friends wants to start freediving in september and she can hold her breath about 1,45 - 2,00 secs (sitting on a chair). I want to dive with her about 10 meters, how long can she stay at the bottom?

Well, You'll have to find out - can't really calculate those things. Just make sure You stay on the safe side!
Have You ever taken a freediving course? If not, that would certainly be a good present for Your next birthday or so.

to go at 10 meters and back u need about 30 seconds if u have good fins and not going down very quickly.....
I aproximate that she can stay at 10 m for 10 seconds or so!
but many variables are envolved here...
if she can't do corect equalization she will not be able to reach even 4 meter depth...
her constitution is important as well....

Shes a active girl and loves swimming, she plays even football, her constitution is very good and she is tall. And she already knows how to do the equalization, this is not the problem...

it is very important 4 her 2 know how to not wayst the oxygene with her mouvement
oxygene preservation is important in freediving
i'm not an experienced freedivier and i never did more than 16 m depth, but i dive from very long time because underwater hunting and i know that i am right...more experienced freedivier can corect me if i'm wrong

I'd say You two drop by and we hop into the lake for a bit. Maybe there's a trick or two I can still show You.
I'll have plenty time the next couple of weeks, so if You can actually arrange a trip to the Bodensee, that would be great as I'm always looking for (prospective) buddies.

I dive to 8 metres as my record. very quickly breath I needing. Maybe time is about 30 secons. If I was a mermaid i would do for ever.
