I like to believe that RA wouldn't factory produce an overpowered gun).

Cooper, If I remember correctly when I spoke to RA he said his rail guns were designed for optimum penetration and maximum range with a 20mm rubber. The reason he provided the 2 x 16mm was due to customer demand. So from what I can tell you're running it exactly the way it was designed to be.

And duly noted Foxfish, thanks for the heads up. :)

Update: Just ordered an RA 110 tuna , open muzzle comes with (2x 16) and they threw in a 19mm band, The store (in laguna beach) was out of stock so will take 2 weeks to come in.

Water in LA is a fair bit chillier than OZ, thinking about buying a 5mm in the same wetsuit that i have now (cressi technica), i wonder if i can order the same size online without trying it on. thoughts fellow spearo's? fyi, i only just bought the 3.5.

I have a Pursuit 5 mill blue Camo and it is the best suit I have worn, fits better then the customs I've have worn for 25 years. I'm 5' 11'' @ 195 lbs If you want to see it just PM me.

Cheers, Don Paul

No probs, unless the Tecnica is super tight. Cressi Apnea 5mm from Scubastore - BARGAIN, can't go wrong. Found it a bit more durable than the Tecnica as well, no camo though.

thanks guys. Re wetsuit I'm in the process of trying to win one off spearblog's facebook page. the guy with the most amount of "likes" on a comment wins and so far i'm leading.

with any luck, 10 days from now and i'll of won it!

Getting back on topic, still waiting to get my RA tuna. In the interim i've immersed myself in all things about reels, bungee's and floatless floatlines...

so much to learn about these bloody kelp beds...

lol
