I can now snorkle!!!

Thankyou for all your advice. I am very pleased with myself During the past week Dave and I have got hold of lead and cast several blocks of various weight and I got hold of some light ankle weights. Today, armed with blocks, belts and ankle weights we went back to our lake. Ankle weights were perfect and took my legs under water so I could kick properly. A light belt will be needed for salt water. I have even cracked fins!

Lastly. Dave has taught me to clear my snorkle properly. I can't wait to go on holiday and snorkle all round the reefs in the bay.

Thanks for all the encouragement and help. Now all I have to do is relax, practice and enjoy. Dave has one question. How much lead around the neck, and how long does it take for the insurance to pay out?

I cracked up reading your post (until I read the whole thing)

First i saw "help my wife please" followed by "I have got hold of lead and cast several blocks of various weight and I got hold of some light ankle weights. Today, armed with blocks, belts and ankle weights we went back to our lake" and thought that your wife might be sunk at depth rofl
