Relief Fund Bank Account set up by Maldives Government

The Government has set up two bank accounts at Bank of Maldives to receive financial assistance towards the disaster relief efforts.

One account is to receive cash assistance denominated in foreign currency, and the other is to receive assistance denominated in Rufiyaa. The details of the accounts are as follows:

In addition, the Disaster Relief Centre set up at Iskandar School will receive donations in the form of cash and checks. Dry rations, clothing, bed sheets, blankets, medicine and other forms of assistance will be received at Aminiyya School.
