Hi guys
I've got space available for another student at the moment. Please read my blurb below and PM me if you'd like more info.
Kathryn McPhee offers a one on one remote coaching service that allows freedivers from around the world to benefit from her knowledge and experience from the comfort of their own home. She believes that weekend courses offer a large amount of information in a short time period, but few divers manage to take in all the information, realise how to put the information into practise or remember to use the new techniques in training. Over eight weeks Kathryn can provide a good base knowledge to freedivers allowing them time to go away and try out each item before adding new skills.
As a student, each week you will try new things in training, video small parts, put them on YouTube (public or private) and invite Kathryn to watch. She will review the videos and then discuss them and how to move forward plus any general questions. She will provide new advice over the weeks that will slowly pull together in the aim for perfection and general improvement. The weekly discussion will be on Skype at a pre-organised time to suit. Over the eight weeks, an extended training programme/lifestyle to suit you will be offered, and various techniques and exercises will be given to you that will help you to advance in the long term. All discussions are followed up with an email from Kathryn outlining all the issues discussed, with information sheets attached outlining new skills and information that are easy to refer back to over time. Access will be given to a number of demonstration videos on You Tube for your continual reference during the coaching time.
The focus of the coaching will be more around practical technique as opposed to the science behind Freediving. There is an expectation that students will have been involved in a course prior to receiving coaching and will already have a basic understanding of freediver physiology and safety.
