I tore my Elios smooth skin today putting it on and did an on site repair with silver duct tape. After the dive I peeled off the tape to glue the tear, but quite a bit of residue is left on the rubber. Does any one know how I can remove this residue? Is there some type of solvent that is safe for neoprene?
Thanks,
Jim

3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner, part no. 051135-08984 (I'm reading the can). Boat US or West Marine should have it. Test it first, but I'm pretty sure it won't hurt neopreme at all. I use it for all kinds of stuff (no Sven, not what you think), works fantastic on duct tape residue.

Nail polish remover(acetone based) will get it off.
