Research on Ocean Users’ Experience – Participants Welcome

Hello everyone,

My name is Mylenna, and I’m a post-baccalaureate student in Technical Apparel Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), Canada.

I’m currently conducting research for my Capstone project, which explores how recreational ocean users (such as surfers, divers, swimmers, and snorkelers) experience shark-related risks — and how wetsuit design could help enhance both safety and confidence in the water.

I’m inviting participants aged 18–55 who take part in ocean activities at least twice a year to complete a short anonymous survey (about 5 minutes). At the end, you’ll have the option to volunteer for a brief follow-up online interview if you’d like to share more about your experiences.

I tried to start your survey but my age group was not represented. I'm 65
Also, you should differentiate SCUBA and Diving (AKA free Diving) and snorkeling, although snorkeling and free diving are about the same with different levels of intensity.
