hello all.

Was just wondering if there was a general consensus on rest days?

Is it considered the same as with muscular training... ie rest days are important. Or is regularity and frequency important with a rest day just setting you back a bit?

I am very much a beginner and am not consistent or experienced enough to really notice. Was just wondering if there was any theory about it. I suppose theres no muscle to repair so no need for rest days??

Yes, rest days are important, even for static. Your body needs time to recover, and that way you make better progress and there is less chance of overtraining.
