Family and work constrains consume most of my time but I try to do at least something towards my freediving.
So here is my training plan, I'm very limited with my time & money resources, but please let me know what should I change.
STATIC APNEA
I start each session with body stretching (limited as it's in workplace) - this include ribs cage stretching and few diaphragm exercises.
- 3 dry CO2 tables a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - during lunch time break at work)
- 1 dry O2 table a week (Friday - during lunch time break)
I'm quite happy with the way I'm progressing, at least in dry attempts.
DYNAMIC APNEA
Here there is a lot to improve. How can I maximize my efforts?
DRY TRAINING
- one run a week, with progressing breath holds (8 steps, breathe for 16 steps, 16 steps, breathe for 16 steps, 24 steps breath hold, 16 breathe, 32 hold - then the pyramid goes down to 8 steps of breath hold), during that run I do some sprint on breath hold, I also do the run in certain rhythm as in Pelizzari's book
- equalizing practice, jaw muscles exercises
WET TRAINING
- swimming pool twice a week, around 40 lengths breaststroke, then some play in deep end (3m) - I try to equalize underwater (Frenzel), practice duck dives and diving without breath in
- swimming underwater (usually 25m or 50m), few times
Also I do some weight, I stretch on Fridays
Any suggestions how can I make my training more beneficial?
