I have posts somewhere a diagram for the power band calculation by using primeline formula and it was wrong as I didn't understand few terms ,I am posting it now after i have calculated according to what I read and learn ,my goal was to estimate the required force minimum and maximum which can apply on 160cm 7mm spring steel shaft and I found out it s enough to load it in range (200-300)Ib ,picture is attached and I like to hear and learn from you guys

Does this formula take both outside diameter and the diameter of the interior hollow into account - bands are generally tubes rather than cylinders? You could have a "wall thickness" of, say, 5mm on a 14mm band or a 20mm band and I think you would notice a difference.

Odd to see inches still being used for this type of calculation in 2016.

I am surprised they quote up to 900% elongation - I would not expect the rubber to fully recover from such elongation.
