hey all, i just ordered a pair of Riffe Silent Hunter fins from ebay. The guy selling them has more, he didnt say how many, just said quite a few. They are only in sizes 46-48 which is size 11-13. Thye have bothe blades, the Pez Fuerte (stiff) and the Silent Hunter (medium)... your choice..... Bidding starts at 80.00 and i got mine for 91.00. Its a great deal!!! just looking out for my fellow bargain hunters.

Hello,

could you explain the difference between the Riffe fins and the Omer ones?

Regards,
Jeff

Jeff,
The difference is Omer quit making them for Riffe so they are becoming extinct. I forgot which Riffe model is what, but its basically the Omer Millenniums. Going price for new Omer foot pockets is about $85 so the e-bay deal is pretty good, if it’s your size. The Omer pockets are becoming one of the standards for high performance fins, so when you want a better fin, you can just get some fiberglass or carbon blades and keep the pockets.
