Lets see.... i started with a champion, then a jbl, AB biller, cressi, lots more and last a Riffe. im only telling you this because i have used other guns not all but have experiance, now i want to give some of my thoughts and you can make your own decision.
many new spearos are looking for all differant types of qualitys but theres one thing we are all looking for and thats to land your dinner or world record with 1 gun and theres only a few that can perform these types of tasks..... im going to give you info on one name that wont let you down in anything you buy, and thats a Riffe.
Now look at it this way new spearos Riffe is a little more expensive but the cheaper one you buy breaks in a month "champion" or the reel is crap "cressi", you over load the trigger mec and its hard as hell to pull the trigger "ab biller" or even more funnier you over load it and pull the trigger and your handle snaps off "jbl"!:rcard the guns a pile.
you can find Riffe Euros for a great price to! i just hope all spearos enjoy the sport and not have to go through crap just to get quality.
last thing, make sure you do your homework before you buy and check whats best for you, and heres a good website to get you started Riffe Spear Gear.com -The Riffe Speargun, Riffe Wetsuit and Riffe freediving equipment headquarters-We sell and stock Riffe Masks, Riffe Spearguns, Riffe Euro Guns, Riffe Snorkels, Riffe Fins, and all Riffe Accessories! remember to compare prices and specs on all guns interested in to see whats good for you. im sure people can also tell more about Riffeguns good and bad and i hope that everyone joins in on this thread! Because knowlege is power, Happy hunting!:t
