I'm considering between different types of rope either Double Braided Polyester or Dyneema rope. Dyneema is lighter and does not retain water so is better for travel. However I can only find this rope in either floating or suspension. The issue I see is when braiding it can float in to others buoys while they train. The double braided polyester is a bit heavier and needs to be dried out before travel. It is also very easy to braid and sinks so it won't obstruct any other divers.

Does anyone have any experience with dyneema? Is it easy to braid? Some ropes are quite stiff and very slow to braid. Do you have a preferences between sinking, floating and suspension rope?
