There will probably not be a huge difference in performance associated with a 10 cm shorter gun. You will get a little less effective range-especially if you are using a single wrap of shooting line.

We are now using 14.5 mm bands on our guns which seem to be the best mix of performance and ease of loading.

You should be able to target large fish (over 50 lbs) with a 110 cm gun, but you will need to be reasonably close and make an accurate and well placed shot.

Ok thats great man, cheers mako1,, very much appreciate u taking the time to share ur knowledge,, yea 2x 14mm are great for loading good power i only have a single wrap on my 120, just looking at getting a carbon gun as everyone commenting on how light an easy they are to track fish,, wanting to step my game up this xmas and shoot some kingfish that swarm around this time of year where i live in NZ,, ID LIKE TO TRY a double wrap,, looking at a rob allen MOOCHER, Cheers
