The BSA is running two art competitions to find the best artwork to represent two safety campaigns.
The two safety campaigns are:
· Beware of spearfishers in the water using floats and flags keeping 100m distance
· Safe use of spear guns: you must use below text
o Only ever load your gun when it’s in your hand and you are submerged in water.
o Never leave loaded spearguns on buoys, floats, bodyboards or in boats.
o Always be aware of where a speargun is pointing.
o Never point a speargun at another person.
o Never trust the safety catch.
o Always cover the tip of the spear when not in use.
o Do not spearfish too close to beach bathers.
Each competition will reward the winner with a cash payment of £30.00. The art work must have the BSA logo attached.
All entries must be the owners of the artwork, and understand that by winning the competition and accepting the £30 cash payment they are transferring the copy right of the artwork the British Spearfishing Association.
