Just an update in case you missed the news item.
After all the applications, pool sessions, NDAC dips and much discussion and brain power.... we have selected our Mermaid for 2005/2006.
Mandy Buckley comes from Cheshire and is 32. She has been mad enough to dive in cold lakes on scuba kit for a while now so we hope she will fit in well to our little paradise. Those of you who have met her know she is sufficiently bonkers to be a good part of the team - but more importantly also a total natural in the water, especially with a monofin.
Mandy will be diving with us pretty regularly now so I would like to thank you ALL in advance for being very kind and helpful to her over the next few months!! and thank those of you who have already been so helpful - especially Remi, Lammy, Franck, Ed, Deepest Dave and everyone who was around for the trials. Also thanks to SUUNTO and Deeper Blue for sponsorship.
