Can anyone shed any light on what the difference between these guns is? The Vintair RRP is a bit more but I'm not sure why? Anyone have perspective on which is the better gun?

Internals should be the same. Think of the Predathor as a very face lifted Vintair. Same on the inside, fancier on the outside
See Popgun Pete's post about the connection between the two here.
Unless you can find the Vintair much cheaper than a Predathor or like the old styling more, I wouldn't bother.

I don't know the quality of the shafts that ship with the Vintair nor if it comes with a reel?

I did a little digging and the Vintair with vacuum muzzle used to be called Vuoto Air but it has not been in the Salvimar catalouge since 2016. It looks like they don't make it anymore with a vacuum muzzle given that the Predathor does the same. They still carry a few lower end Vintairs, though. I'd say any Vuoto Air would be old stock and should be on fire sale. I don't think it was ever supposed to cost more than the Predathor Vuoto, either.
As for the shaft, I think they would ship with a good stainless 7mm for the Vuoto Air and not the crappy 8mm galvanized ones that the regular Vintairs might ship with. You don't want a galvanized shaft which might become pitted in an vacuum gun as it will wreck the muzzle seal, so do check on that in case you want to buy a Vintair Empty Air (Vuoto Air).
I don't think they come with a reel, whereas Predathor Vuotos in sizes 85 and longer do.

I kinda don't want to mention this, but re-visiting an exploded diagram it does look like the Vintairs come with 1.5mm trigger pins which should give a softer pull. Why Salvimar went up to 2mm on the Predathor is still one of my life's big unsolved mysteries;-).

Thanks Gecko that's exactly the info I needed. Basically the vintair empty air is old stock and the RRP should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I think I'll get a 75cm voutos ordered.

The Predathor is a good gun! I love it, both for performance and looks!
