The vuoto has been going great until the other day i switched to low power to shoot near rocks. but now i cant get it back on full power!

I tried to remove the air to see what is going on, but obviously there is air still trapped in the main barrel, so i can even take it apart!

Any ideas?

Attach the hand pump and add more air pressure to the gun. The power regulator in that gun uses an upstream valve, so if the pressure in the inner barrel and pre-chamber is lower than the main tank then the pressure differential prevents you from moving the regulator. I have had that happen many times when I lost some pressure in my Scubapro "Magnum" through a leaking rear tank seal that is immediately in front of the handle section as that has no effect on the pressure in the forward tank. The power regulator just would not budge, but once I added enough air it moved freely as the pressure imbalance was removed.

I have mentioned this before if you do a search on the Scubapro "Magnum", it is basically the same gun as the Salvimar.

Brilliant!!!!!!, Great thought Pete.

I will give that a go, many thanks.
