Hello all, I'm from Colorado and am now located in San Marcos, TX.

Wouldn't mind learning the basics of spearfishing in the San Marcos river (or any other place, due to legality of spearfishing in city limits).

I think the idea of tilapia for dinner sounds yummy, hoping somebody knowledgeable in the south Texas area will take pity on a poor newbie like me and enlighten me on the ways of spearfishing.

Thank you! And I will continue searching. Just don't have the scratch to spend on a lesson quite yet. Maybe soon.
