Myself and the boy Reuben just starting out here near Edinburgh. He's 13, a high level footy player who's about to go in for an ACL reconstruction op. Our new hobby is going to give us something to keep busy with and help recovery. We're just putting together some basic kit... wish us luck with finding out if we got it reasonably right in these tropical waters hehe.

Love that article. We've bought spearguns but I'd take that picture of a fish anytime. Mostly just like being in the water really. Spear gives an extra purpose I suppose. I've training in archaeology, love a bit of history me... Round here in Musselburgh Preston Pans area.. maybe I could take an interest in really old bricks and dive for those ;)
