Hello fellow water budies.

Has any one got any opinions on Scubapros Freedom mask?

- Are they polycarb. or glass lenses?
- Curved or straight. I can't tell from the photo at Diveinn or on Scubapros german site.
- How do people find that low slung strap point.
- What kind of face dose it fit. Wide and round like the Aqualung Sphera or narrow like the Cressi Minima.

I would be very keen to here from any one that has used this mask. : )

Answering my own question for me. I thought some of you might like to know as well.

It has polycarb. lenses with a downward tilt. Can't make out if they have a fully straight lense or a flat front section with a curved outer a la Aqualung Sphera. If it is Polycarb. I suspect it probably is curved on the edges. Especialy since they claim 180 degree vision.

So, it is probably much the same as the Sphera may be with a bit more downward vis. I don't know about that deep nose bridge though.

Any comments / thoughts re. face fit or volume.

I've just seen that mask online too, and haven't seen one in person, or heard about them from anyone.
I find it interesting that they brought back the "Futura" (I think that's what it was) , the mask that Jean-Marc Barr used in "The Big Blue" when he was in Peru under the ice!
Cheers,
Erik Y.
