Where can I buy a Asso 115 air gun in England?
It would seem, fitted with a Mamba kit, the Asso is very highly rated & I want one or at least I want more info. How much £ would be a start.

Just email Enzo
maorisub@libero.it

Tell him you want a 115cm Asso mamba to shoot a 7mm shaft.
Also buy a Manometro to connect to a scuba tank to measure and fill the gun up to a good atm.

BTW Foxfish: black death= La Morte Nera.
PS: Provided you already own the mamba kit, of course we could find the Asso cheaper in Italy (seen it at 100 euro), but shipping cost are so high to match the price gap. I'll check around anyway, and if I find some super-extra-cheap offer somewhere over here I'll let you know.
B. lucky ;-)

Thanks guys, G diver I will try the Maorisub site but it was not easy to get the mamba 90's we ordered earlier in the year!
Spaghetti perhaps you can deliver one personally next year if I have problems beforehand.:)

I'm wrestling and boxing with my boss here to have some extra holidays in autumn, but he's a hard bone to chew about extra holidays :head

However, I'm already making a list of things to bring on when I'll ever come to Guernsey: bottles of wine, pure olive oil and seasoned cheese are on top of the list by now. And of course a bag full of spearguns. It will be more possibly in spring, when olive oil will have lost the "bitter" of its taste.

BTW: what are those "wings" in your Mamba?

I pimped my Mamba as I do to most (all) my guns. I fitted a longer spear than standard, to improve the sight line. This mod seemed to increase muzzle lift on firing! So I made a removable sleeve shaped to counteract any lift & for a bit of fun I thought I would keep up the "join the dark side" image. The end result is a more accurate & stable gun which I have now named La Morte Nera.
Spaggeti your list is good but I just love TRUFFLES :)

Interesting crafts job, and good looking too (and with a great name!). is it handmade by you with wood, metal...?

Truffles: my uncle has two incredibly clever dogs specialized in finding them. He used to provide me with heaps of free ones, but I haven't visited or phoned him for months...I hope he is not upset against me now: we should never forget the importance of the family! (especially if the family is an unlimited source of wild truffles!)

I made it from a pvc pipe which I covered in foam, I then shaped the foam with sandpaper & covered it with fiberglass mat. Lots of sanding & some paint.
I have my ferrets in training but they haven't found any truffles yetrofl

Lazy boys (yet nice indeed)? Ok, I'll call my uncle some of these days: his dogs are always hyper-active, digging and spreading soil all over. But they eat half of the truffles they find: they EAT them really! You careful with those ferrets!

Now, back to the Seac Asso...... rofl

I am curious I have an Asso 55 which I find useless, would a mamba kit improve this? I was talking to a guy in Cephalonia and he reckoned that If I drilled the holes out inside the gun to a greater diameter that it would be much more powerful.
I am not that keen on pneumo's so I didn't bother but it may be a nice project for the winter.

I am led to believe the asso 115 is very suitable for the mamba conversion. When pressurised at 24 (not 23 or 25) can throw its spear at 40 mt a second, something to do with the size of its piston?
Huan I have happily used band guns for 30+ years but not any more! my mamba 90 outperforms any other gun I have ever used, full stop.

I wouldn't mambize that, Huan: a 55 is mainly a rock and hole gun. It is special for powerful short shots into holes (congers et cetera), but it has a very short range in open water.
A Mamba kit on it would improve the speed of the shaft, but the range would not gain much.
However, yes, making larger holes in the muzzle would improve its performance.
But...er...why don't you join the dark side too? rofl

Only the ones who dont own a Mambarofl
In fact I did have a few teething problems with my mamba & I am not intending to sell my band guns. However even a missed fish is still fun because the mamba is such a pleasure to fire. The virtually silent weapon fires the spear so straight & fast with no noticeable recoil that you can see the spear for only a flash before it pulls on the mono & stretches the bungee. Why would I want to use my rubber guns other than for sentimental reasons?
I cant wait to get a Asso mamba kitted gun as I feel it will open up more opportunities & help develop different skills. I am more than happy to move along with technology.
Of course this is only my personal opinion (although I dont think I am alone) & I am relating to my own style of hunting in my own environment (Guernsey)
"Crumbs" I might even hang my Mamba (Mamba's) on the living room wall in the winter rofl
