I would greatly appreciate recommendations for places to beach dive off the Florida Atlantic Coast. (I will be in south florida this weekend - May 3-4 - and would like to catch a dive or two while I am there).

I have Ned DeLoach's book ""Diving Guide to Underwater Florida," but the book is geared toward scuba rather than freediving (of course).

Horseshoe reef just north of Boynton Inlet is supposed to be great for freediving, but would require a charter boat, I am told.

Perhaps this thread could become a repository for people's recommendations, with some details on how best to dive the various spots.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
