Our local sewerage plant sits on a rock platform adjacent to a large bay. Ive never really taken the time to dive the area previously. Divers never seem to get big fish there. But with big swell pounding my favourite spots I decided to give it a chance.

The area was full of juveniles of all sorts of species, but few large fish. So I dropped the speargun to the bottom and concentrated on the photos. Viz was rather poor, even 300m offshore where the water depth drops down to 10m.

Sitting near the sewrage pipe was this fellow:

sewerage plant? hell. hope it's not like ours... the pipes are leaking into the sea at present.
nice pic of the scorpion fish.

I would be stoked on the 10m vis., we had about 6m
vis for the last week and thats about the best it gets.
