this is silly...
if anyone can hold his breath long enough to finish the job and come - I DON'T want to know... I prefer anything that's longer than 30 seconds.

before, after, or in between the dives, hangin on a dinghy anchor rope - that's another story... :t

Dragonfly the post could only have originated form someone in balmy warm water conditions like I imagine Florida to be. 8-10 C during the winter up to a balmy 14c in summer means the Irish end of the Atlantic poses some challenges, only one of which would be holding the breath. Don't get me wrong we Irish can be sexy in our own pale pasty kinda way but the wetsuit needs to stay on.
I'm not even gonna mention the pissette from Elios and other custom suit makers.

But wouldnt blood shift turn your stiffy into a shrinky dink? and what happens if the water is cold? Actually its a very interesting question. If you can get a stiff willy at the surface, what happens to it by the time you get to 50 meters?

Blood shift redirects to feed the vital organs, that is a vital organ, i'm sure you will be fine, just watch the plate on the turn :blackeye

I got a mental picture of me doing a 50m dive too. Its soooooo tempting.......not with a stiffy though. I reckon its impossible.

So the question, is it possible to maintain an erection at the surface and take it down to 50m? Lets get some votes and then lets get some brave soul to proove it.

To be honest, I have a problem with not getting the horn while freediving...

Sex while freediving is something that I found alluring as a young man, but I'll never get to experience it now as my wife won't even get her hair wet in the water.

Someone once commented that lubrication could be a problem underwater. There's an amusing read about scuba sex.

I agree with previous post mentioning this can only be done somewhere warm. If someone can maintain "certain situation" after hitting thermocline, the guy deserves a spot in those suggestive pharmaceutical commercials.

But putting more thoughts into this... Both would have to let go of the bottom part of the suit. The hooded top part is pretty good in maintaining the core body heat. Also wearing liquid goggles and noseclip is probably required for more meaningful play; masks are getting in the way. Oh, and you probably don't want to go too deep; this extracurricular activity requires a lot of oxygen, so lets say 10-15m max?

Thanks for the link Cornholio. Had to laugh at this bit -

"Shrinkage Water temperature can ruin the best intentions We've had conflicting information about the possibility and desirability of love in a cold climate. While some blokes reckon they're hard enough to cope with the cold, blue lips and goosebumps are not an attractive look. We recommend a minimum water temperature of 25 degrees C."
