My dive buddy is going on holiday to Orlando and will be staying in International Drive right by Sea World.

Can anyone tell me what good spearing shops are around that area.

Thanks

;)

do an online search, BUT
Check out Extra Sea Dive Center. Hopefully a guy named GLEN is there. One of the best spearo's I know. If he doesn't have it he can point you in the right direction.

Thanks a lot Stretch

I am looking for the address but all I could find was "Exta Sea DIve Center"
Is this it?

If you're looking for some spearfishing gear, Divers Outlet (a.k.a. Divers Direct) has a large store on International Drive. They carry Riffe and Spearfishing Speialties equipment.

If your buddy is willing to drive to Tampa(about 1 to 1.5 hr. drive) , then I can recommend several shops that cater to spearos.

About slip tips check this ones out, they are the best I found, and for your BF they should rock. They could be shiped to your friend where ever they are.

With a small modification (ad a flopper of some sort at they base) they have a good hold and super low profile. I'm working on similar design to engineer my own ones for marlins.

Drop them an email: they seem like nice guys and they do a beautiful work.
