Hi everyone!

Thank you for reading my post! my name is James Kang, i was born in China, raised in Singapore and educated in San Diego. My whole life I have loved many things, many people and many of them have come and went, but my love for the ocean and water sports have never died off, instead, it only grew stronger every year.

I found this forum while doing a little research on the Lunocet monofin, and in an extraordinary coincidence, met up with one the Lunocets creators friend, and am going to place an order pretty soon.

My dreams are to bring Free diving and Hydro touring into Asia so I can show everyone here just how beautiful the Ocean is, and perhaps then they will help preserve this gem.

Im currently in Singapore, serving my 2 years of mandatory national service in the Naval Diving Unit (NDU). I have done several water sports, including swimming, water polo, scuba diving, wake boarding, etc. Free diving is fairly new to me, and after recent the posts from this forum, realize that there's much more to free diving than just holding your breath for as long as you can, equalizing and going down. I consider it an art, a discipline of sort. And now I'm even more determined to master this.

In my now initial journey to learn free diving, I have come across some obstacles, one of which is equalizing my ears while upside down. Have anyone else encountered this? Is there anything i can do to fix this?

I do have a facebook account if anyone wants to add me :)

Thank you,

James Kang.
