Small craft for Guernsey

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Ed try a Google search for "stitch & glue boat plans" you might find some very low weight designs specified but from my experience these estimates are a little optimistic!!
However as Jonny suggest this might be the way falward for you!
(you wont beat a portaboat for what you want)

guys, had a bit of a brainwave just there......

has anyone thought about using a jet ski for spearing transport?

then i remembered this thread, and thought you might be interested.

so, the criteria for a good spearing boat.

1: its light (relatively) one man can put it on the trailer easily.

2: you can take friends (the other half) along, just get a 2 seater.

3: its relatively safe, and reliable.

4: doesn't require physical exertion.

just thought i'd pass that on.

now, its back to the library for me.

Not a bad idea apart from virtually every spearo I know hates jet skis!rofl

If anyone is really looking for a boat, I have a 24' Coronet Weekender that I would part with if the right offer came along. It needs some attention to make it... more pleasing to the eye, but it is a very solid boat with a 205hp V6 Volvo Penta in it. I have dived off it many times all around Guernsey, Herm, Sark, Jersey and France (Carteret).

PM me if interested.

George.
