In the final phases fo finishing the next Fuss Guns, Model 3 the Snapper Slapper.

still needs: rounded off edges, a line release, cover the pushrod slot, and finishing.

That being said...here ya'll go.

CZ thanks!,

While I will give this gun my fair share of attention it is more for my girlfriend Ashley so its 48".

I'm going to build a 50 or 52"er for me after I test this one out a few times.

a four footer, eh?

I've got a slightly smaller model for her... :chatup

Butt seriously, that's looking tres' smooth. How'd drilling the stock go?

Second times' the charm. Lol. If you're building a 52" you better get some longer arms to go with it.Thanks for the track and it's looking good.

Sven,
Got me a full size press and lo' and behold the table is squared off (not rounded off w/ an angled edge like alot of the newer models) so its very easy to clamp the block and drill away!

Aj, my 58" gun is somewhat a pain to load...but the 52" should ( w/ some hope) be a hair easier.

John.

should be finished w/ tom. night (w/ alot of hope!)

I haven't built a hybrid (yet). But I'm thinking it would be a lot easier to clamp the gun block down flat and square to the table and then tilt the table 90 degrees so that its inline with the drill. Full size woodworking drill presses usually have this tilting feature.

Isn't that how you do yours Sven?
