snorkel packing

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

can anyone explain me how to pack through
a snorkel? I tried Eric F. instructions to pack with a drinking straw, but didnt get the difference
between sucking and inhaling!!
I'm a real beginner at this... :eek:

Only a few people can do this effectively. I'm not one of them. Eric F; where are ya man?

You can't pack as much per pack through the snorkel as without. You have to pull your tongue back from the snorkel to draw the air in through the snorkel and then use your tongue to push that air into your lungs. It's not that it's so difficult... it's just that it is not near as efficient as being able to draw air into your mouth without the snorkel.
