I'm a beginner spearo/freediver.
I have notice that when i'm in the water my throat/palate start to make involuntary sounds and moves.
It's extremely annoying and messes up my diving.
This never happens on land when breath holding or equalizing, i use the frenzel method.

Can any one explain what it is, and how i get it under control.?

Thank you :)

Too weak glottis muscles and air instead to inner ear goes back to lungs. Practice, practice, practice :)

But it does not happen when i equalize.
it happens when i'm just cruising on the surface breathing through a snorkel.
