Hello Deeperblue!
I am relatively new to the world of freediving. Are there any textbooks/ sources of information one may recommend to better familiarize oneself with the specifics of breathing techniques, methods of improving lung capacity etc. Most of my discoveries have been lay articles or videos briefly explaining a concept or term. However I am looking for sources involving a higher level of discourse (ex: molecular physiology, pulmonology). I have come across things such as 02, CO2, paranayama, wonka, tables, packing, reverse packing etc. yet I find it difficult to find information providing insight into deeper mechanisms. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am eager to learn as much as I can provided with what exists in the literature.
