Finished nights this morning so thought I'd have a dip rather than sleep!!
A bit choppy & mixed viz - Torquay, but managed a few mullet, again not many bass seen. 1 small shoal & that was it.
Hit a donkey mullet at max range but the spear bounced straight off him & off he went

Matt, That's great news, really appreciate that...I was a rough and tough evening!! What can I say, great to have a fantastic network as DB, and an honest bunch too. I would have probably had to wait a week or so to get another, let alone the expense!! I'm truly grateful.

Just back from the sea. Nothing much doing. Between three of us only 2 mackerel shoals, 2 mullet and a shoal of small bass seen. Viz barely worth going.

Great program, thought our man Ollie was going to fillet one of the other chefs for a second though and I would of done the same if some bugger had nicked my best pan. roflroflrofl

Hallsands last night, it was flat calm with the westerlys we've been having. The viz was ok between 3-5 m in places. No bass seen but plenty of small pollock knocking, about speared one of about 3lb. And a large friendly seal!

You want to be careful spearing seals, can be a bit of a handful if you don't hit 'em right!

Got in today between torbay and teignmouth by kayak and the vis was pretty poor 2-3 metres at best quite a few mullet about but nothing else . Will be heading south hams or cornwall sunday ,hopefully better vis !
