Mr X the General didnt get away in this scene,almost though. I did think shall i risk going back for the cam gun which was on the float 20m away but my trigger finger had a mind of its own. Good sound track to the Gladiator film (Now We Are Free). May try using it on one of my vids.

Any viz reports south devon - appreciate easterly earlier part of the week but wondered if SW had cleared it at all? Been working nights so difficult to check myself but guys at work say Teignmouth / bay is still looking brown. See there is a right old mixture coming in NW/SW/W seems to be swirling around uk

A few of the guys I know including myself just bought the Xtar d06.
Xtar D06 LED Diving Torch Kit
It ships from torchdirect with the 2400mAh battery (you may want the 3100mAh upgrade although I have not bothered), car charger, case etc.
Bloody bright and mine lasted a full hour on the highestand brightest setting (which you will not need to leave it on all the time)
I've just bought the Xtar and it really is a great torch. I also have Princeton Tech Shockwave LED which is bigger and not so bright but keeps going for hours and hours. On my last night dive I enjoyed using the Xtar but was glad to know the old faithful Princeton was on my float in case the battery ran out.

Teignmouth last night 2-3m milky viz down to 0, quite normal for this way.
1 small bass seen & this mullet weighing in at 6lb 2oz a PB for me!!
Not the best shot if I'm honest but it was rather gloomy.

I also have the Q40, but Xenon. Not really good solely as a dive torch, but attach to your mask and is great as a hands free torch when it comes to dispatching the fish. Just a simple twist of the head brings it on, so you don't need it on all the time.
I also have the Xtar D06 and a cheap Chinese LED CREE T6 from Hong Kong that cost about £7.50, which is fine and very bright, but started to fade in and out a little, so bought the Xtar.
