Hi there, I just moved to DC and am comfortable freediving in the 50-70ft range and am a beginner spearfisher looking to improve. Would love to find a community to practice with!
I didn't see a message. I used to practice a lot in Annapolis. But they no longer allow breath hold. I have been a couple of times to the Chinquapin pool in Alexandria which still does allow freedive. There is also an active group in Northern Virginia who have practices, but they are too far for me to regularly attend. They have a facebook group called "NoVA Freediving". Check them out.
