Anyone spearfished Canary Islands recently? Wondering if anyone has time to help with some logistics/advice?

We will land in Gran Canaria and hoping to go to Fuerteventura and Hierro. We will be there December 2023. Looking to get on some pelagics and groupers.

1. Licensing: Online search looks like you need to get a "class 2" fishing license which requires a doctors sign off, diving insurance, and a firearms license. Is this correct?
2. Do you know anyone there who would be willing to take us out on a boat or show us around the shore dive spots?
3. Anyone have a link to a site that shows the zones for fishing and protected areas?

Hit me up on Instagram. All info in the profile.

1. Yes, you also need to do medical evaluation for licence. Everything can be arranged in 1-2hours.
2. hit me up
3. google zonas pesca submarina canarias to get maps. The brackets and zones are only places where we can spear.
