Spearfishing Cyprus Oct/Nov Paphos area

Hi. I'm heading to Cyprus at the end of October for a month. I'm planning on taking my spearfishing equipment with me. I'm just wondering if anyone on here is either local to the area or will be in the area at that time so I've got someone to buddy up with.

Also. I'm from the UK so I use a 75cm, single wrapped gun which is sufficient for UK waters. Would it be advisable to go for a bigger gun with more range for Cyprus? And does anyone have any other equipment recommendations that I may not have thought about. Also tips on dive spots would be nice.

I may go end of this month or March, and am interested in your experiences (guns, places, licence).

Hye,
I travel to Paphos Area in Cyprus for freediving and spearfishing from 6March16 to 14March16.
I am looking for other spearos to do some trips together.
I hunt with Rob Allen 85 and 110.
Would love to also just meet fellow spearos to make new friends, share equipment and fishing behaviour experience.
I have a car available to go around.
